Brown with Pink Polka Dots ??

I made this cake this past weekend for the best birthday girl around! She wanted a chocolate cake with brown icing and pink polka dots. She got to come to the house and spend the day with us. We played Bakery all day, it was so much fun! I let the birthday girl decide to do the polka dots in pink glazed sugar cookies. As she and the boys were looking through all of the cookie cutters, she found my heart cutters. I’ve got 3 that graduate in sizes. Her heart mind was set, the polka dots would now be polka hearts!

To make the cake just a bit more special, I used an 8″ on the bottom, a 4″ in the middle and a small heart shaped pan on top. The cake was then, a 3 layer cake! That was a great way to get a cake that looked massive, but also get a cake that was gone with the guests!

Madagascar

This little girl fell in love with the Madagascar movie. Unfortunately her mom couldn’t find much for the party because the movie hadn’t been out long. She was able to get plates and napkins, and I did the rest! I used brown sugar for the sand, icing spray and blue sprinkles for the sky. The cake is yellow w/amaretto and the icing is a mixture of amaretto and cream cheese. There are 3 mixes used to make this crowd pleaser!

Lingerie Shower

This is a cake that I did for my sister’s lingerie shower. The cake is a yellow cake with butter cream icing.  The pan is a ballerina bear pan In the picture there are a few holes here and there, they were fixed right after the picture was taken!

FLOWER POWER

This cake is made with the petal pan. The sides of the cake are yellow along with the middle layer of icing. The pink and green on top are covered with pink sugar sparkles.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

I did this cake for a 7 year old girl. The icing between the layers is the green on the side of the cake. The cake is a yellow cake with amaretto added to the mix. The icing is an amaretto/cream cheese mixture.

SPONGE BOB

 This cake was for a crowd!  The bottom is an 11X15 there are 2 mixes and the cake is chocolate.  The top is one mix and the cake is strawberry.  The icing is butter cream.
